What age is this suitable for?+

Designed for ages 3 to 8. Children younger than 3 may not yet have the hand control to enjoy tracing, and children older than 8 often prefer more complex art activities. The LED light is eye-safe and the projector arm has no sharp edges, making it safe for younger children with normal adult supervision.

Is the LED light safe for children's eyes?+

Yes. The LED is low-intensity and produces minimal heat, designed specifically for close-range use by children. The light projects downward onto the drawing surface, not toward the eyes. The product is CE certified and ASTM F963 compliant, meaning it has passed the required safety standards for children's toys in the EU and USA.

How does the projector work exactly?+

You place a sketching card into the projector slot at the top of the arm. The LED light shines through the card and projects the image onto the drawing surface below. Your child then places a piece of paper on the surface and traces the projected outline. Once traced, they remove the paper and colour it in. The arm height and angle adjust to change the size and clarity of the projection.

Does it work in a bright room?+

The projection is clearest in a dimmed or moderately lit room. Direct sunlight or very bright overhead lighting can wash out the projected image. Most normal indoor lighting levels work fine. If the projection is faint, closing a blind or switching off one overhead light is usually enough to see it clearly.

What batteries does it need?+

The projector requires 3 AA batteries, which are not included. Standard AA batteries are available in any supermarket or pharmacy. One set typically lasts several weeks of regular daily use. The table legs are also removable if you prefer to use it as a flat drawing tablet on any surface.
